Whether it's to celebrate a special occasion or just something to do as a nice surprise a flower can make any smile bigger or turn a frown upside down.

People have a tendency to wait until they do something bad before buying flowers or roses for their loved ones. Flowers aren’t just for when you mess up. You can order flowers at anytime to show that special person that you care. You can order flowers to show that special someone that you have been thinking of them. You can order flowers “just because”. What people fail to understand is that flowers given for no other reason than you were simply thinking of them, create a much stronger and lasting impression that giving flowers to your loved ones, because you did something wrong.

Imagine your loved ones simply sitting at work one day, stressed out by all of the pressures of work and all of the sudden, a flower delivery person drops in and gives them a bouquet of roses with a note from you. Imagine what type of impact that would have on their day. Imagine how excited your loved ones would be when they saw you later on that day. Keeping love alive in this day and age requires certain actions from you. You have to show that you care and show that this person really matters to you. If you are in a relationship that you truly treasure, ordering a bouquet of flowers for your girlfriend or wife should be engrained in your system. It shouldn’t even have to be something that you need to think about. When it comes to weddings, no one ever has to ask the question of whether or not there should be flowers and/or roses ordered. Roses and flowers are naturally expected to be a part of the proceeding. However, when it comes to daily living, people seem to think that you have to wait for a special occasion in order to give flowers to those you care about.

Spontaneity is extremely important. You don’t even need to buy your partner a bouquet of roses. You can simply be walking home one day past your local florist and decide to buy a single rose to present to your loved one. As a matter of fact, everyone should become better acquainted their local flower shops. Sometimes when you want to change it up, you can simply approach your neighborhood florist, and he/she will have the perfect suggestion for your significant other. There is nothing more powerful to the psyche of a person in relationship than receiving flowers from someone they are in love with, for absolutely no reason at all.

What are circumstances where flowers may not be appropriate? The gifting of flowers is not always appropriate. Workplace flower exchanges between coworkers can cause some issues, unless it is for a birthday or a promotion. In this day and age where people seem to want to sue over every little thing, the last place that you want to present someone with flowers should be the workplace. Since workplace romances are generally frowned upon, overt displays of affection can get you fired or if you are in a managerial position having a fling with an employee, you put yourself at risk for allegations of sexual harassment once the relationship cools. However, if it is that person’s birthday or they just received a promotion, big or small; nothing says I care or congratulations more than a flower delivery or a rose delivery with a congratulatory note attached.

Flowers are extremely special. They can warm the heart and bring a smile to the face of someone you care about. They are a means of showing others that they were on your mind. Flowers can try a tense and stressful day into sheer blissfulness. You don’t have to wait for a special occasion to order flowers for that special person. You don’t have to wait for a holiday to give a bouquet of roses. You don’t have to wait until you’ve done something wrong to present you girlfriend with her favorite flowers. Giving flowers, having flowers delivered with a special note attached, are things that can be done just because you feel like expressing your love for that special love in your life.
